We’ve always been partial to a good gouda, so we’re excited to add two incredible gouda cheeses from the Netherlands to our line-up: Food Snob Dutch Gouda and Food Snob Dutch Cumin Gouda.
Gouda is named after the city of Gouda in the Netherlands where the traditional cheese markets are still held in the town square every month. Gouda is one of the most popular cheeses in the world, reportedly making up half of the world’s cheese consumption. It’s a semi-hard cheese with a rich, unique flavour and smooth texture.
Food Snob Dutch Gouda is a brilliant addition to any platter. Try it with a fine sourdough, some fresh figs and a drizzle of honey; or as an oozy addition to a toasted sandwich, or risotto.
